Introducing Apply Maxxing

The problem

The hiring system is not broken by accident

3,258 applications. 30 interviews. 2 offers. 4 years.

That is what the modern job search looks like for a lot of people. Not a gap in qualifications — a war of attrition against a system designed to filter, stall, and exhaust candidates before a single hiring manager reads a word.

Corporations have automated the review process entirely. ATS systems score your resume against a keyword checklist before any human sees it. Ghost job postings collect applications for roles that will never be filled. HR departments sit between candidates and the people who actually want to hire them.

The result: qualified people get rejected by algorithms. The system is not broken — it is working exactly as designed, and the design is not in your favor.

If corporations can judge your entire career with an algorithm, you can use AI to apply. Not to lie, not to fabricate — to optimize. To make every application as strong as it can be. Apply Maxxing is that tool.

What it is

Tailored resumes. Auto-filled applications. Runs on your machine.

Apply Maxxing is a desktop application that combines two things: AI-powered resume tailoring and browser automation. You build a complete professional profile once. For every job you want to apply to, Apply Maxxing tailors your resume specifically to that role — surfacing the most relevant experience, rewriting bullet points to match the job description, and scoring the result from 0 to 100.

Then it opens a visible browser and fills in the application form, field by field, exactly as a human would. You watch every action in real time. You review anything flagged for attention. You click submit.

It works on the platforms where most jobs are posted: Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, LinkedIn Easy Apply, and iCIMS.

How it works

Three steps, then you review

Step 1 — Build your profile. Enter your work experience, education, certifications, skills, and projects once. This becomes the source of truth that the AI draws from. It cannot invent anything that is not in your profile.

Step 2 — Tailor the resume. Paste in a job description. Apply Maxxing reads it, scores your profile against it, selects the most relevant experience, and rewrites your bullet points to align with what the role actually needs. Every resume is unique to the job.

Step 3 — Fill the application. Open the application URL in Apply Maxxing. It launches a browser, reads the form, and fills each field from your profile and tailored resume. Fields it is confident about get a green flag. Fields that need your review get yellow. Fields requiring your direct input get red. You handle those, then click submit.

Privacy

Everything stays on your machine

Apply Maxxing is a local-first application. Your profile, your resumes, your application history — all of it lives in a SQLite database on your device. Nothing touches a server. There are no accounts, no cloud sync, no telemetry.

The AI features use your own API key, stored in your operating system's secure keychain — never in plain text, never transmitted anywhere. Bring your own key (BYOK), pay for exactly what you use, and keep full control.

You can export everything as JSON at any time. Your data is always yours.
